LBSU
2025 - 2026
My role
As one of the lead graphic designers for Leeds Beckett Student Union I worked within the marketing department to produce a wide range of visual communication assets while ensuring brand guidelines are applied consistently across all materials. Design and update posters, leaflets, and large-format banners, and contributed to the visual redesign of the student food space, The Hatch, to create a more engaging environment. Regularly respond to briefs from teams across the organisation, presenting work, gathering feedback from students and colleagues, and refining designs to meet the design goals.

My Work
The following sections outline the different assets I worked on:
The Hive
The Hive, part of Leeds Beckett Students’ Union, follows the wider Union’s brand guidelines in terms of typography and colour, while also incorporating its own distinct identity through honeycomb illustrations and bespoke digital assets. I designed and updated a range of promotional materials, including posters and a vinyl banner, to help direct students to The Hive and strengthen its visual presence within the Union.
LBSU
I developed and updated a range of visual assets, including posters for Leeds Beckett Students’ Union (LBSU), ensuring all work consistently aligned with established brand guidelines. In addition, I produced a short promotional video for display across campus screens, offering an engaging snapshot of various areas within the Union.
LBSU Student Leadership Elections
I contributed to the redesign of the Leeds Beckett Students’ Union (LBSU) elections campaign, supporting a shift away from previous years’ branding. Collaborating with another LBSU graphic designer, we developed a new multimedia visual identity for the campaign. I also created a series of social media stories to launch the 2026 Student Leadership Elections, alongside a nomination poster to raise awareness. Throughout the project, we focused on balancing strong visual appeal with clear, engaging, and informative content.
